DiElle – The Singer-Songwriter with a Tremendous Talent

DiElle has released a new single called ‘Shelter From The Storm’Dielle -Shelter From The Storm

This is an absolutely beautiful song, which has a personal connection for DiElle.

Please go to iTunes and purchase ‘Shelter from the Storm‘ as I highly recommend this song as it is one of my favourites by DiElle.  The lyrics are excellent and everything about it is superb! It is another song very personal to her, which I think is certainly a sign of a great songwriter when you can create what you feel inside and get that across to the listener.

DiElle is a singer-songwriter from the South Coast of England, who not only captivated me with her excellent voice, has also made me aware of her great talent for writing meaningful and interesting songs.

As a singer-songwriter, DiElle has an incredible talent for writing great lyrics which is certainly reflected within her songs.  She grew up as a child surrounded by a music  as both her parents were musically creative people, so it comes as no surprise that also creating  music and songwriting  is within her soul.

I wanted to review DiElle and her music because she is turning out so many great songs that need to be heard.  She already has several albums available on iTunes which I will be listening to and reviewing in the future.  I am now most definitely a fan of her music!

I first listened to ‘The Nesting Song’ which was released on the 1st of September 2015.  This song has a great driving beat to it on rhythm guitar, light percussion and drums, with a little piano making some very effective and nice musical fills between the vocals.

DiElle sounds so crisp and clear on the vocals, and tells the story of relationships and falling in love, and how we embark on a great journey to take a risk on another person to build a future.  Dielle 2

I love this song because the overall sound is a happy one, and the story is identifiable  to so many of us in life.   I love songs that tell stories and DiElle reminds of the style of ‘Beverly Craven’ and particularly ‘Sara Bareilles with ‘The Nesting Song’.  Also the song puts me in mind of a couple of 80’s bands, ‘Everything But The Girl’ and ‘Fairground Attraction’ so if you are a fan of any of these artists, you will love DiElle singing ‘The Nesting Song’.

I also feel that Joni Mitchell and Carole King have perhaps been inspiration for DiElle throughout her musical journey so far.  You really need to take a listen to DiElle and decide for yourself.

DielleDiElle is usually accompanied by acoustic guitar, light percussion and subtle piano which is great for showing off her skills as a singer-songwriter.

DiElle is also a very kind and warm person which I have felt not only from listening to her music, but from the knowledge that whilst she was on tour in the UK and Ireland, she helped to raise £3000 for charity after releasing the single called ‘Beautiful Monday’.

Everything about DiElle as a singer-songwriter is also very professional, with a very well-produced sound on her recordings. I am looking forward to listening to more of her music soon.

Please go to her website and discover more about DiElle and her music, and why she is a singer-songwriter with a tremendous talent.

You can also find Dielle on Twitter,  Instagram , Facebook & YouTube

Please go to iTunes and purchase the wonderful albums by DiElle.

The new single ‘Shelter from the Storm’ is available now from the 1st of December 2015.

Music an Introduction

Welcome to my first blog post!

My name is Carol and I am the writer, editor and founder of Blogestra.com.

I am also the founder and music composer for visual media over at Art of Musical Expressions.com.

Music is one of the most influential and important factors in my life.   I am passionate about all things music. You can read more about me on the ‘About Blogestra‘ page.

I love to listen to, read about, and compose music but right now I have decided to start on a whole new and exciting project.

I would like to share my knowledge, experience and opinions about music with you by writing about it on this music blog.

Becoming a musicpreneur is the best thing I have ever decided to do.

Sharing my experiences with other music blog writers, musicians and composers is bringing me great joy on a daily basis, as I love to be active on social media.  If you follow me on Twitter you will already know that I have many engaging conversations about many different music genres and interesting tweets.

Please connect with me as in the music industry and arts world in general, I believe we can all reach our goal if we help each other!

Will there be anything interesting to read about music on this music blog?

Of course, and I hope to make all of the blogs and articles that I write as interesting as possible. There are so many music related subjects that I want to write about so I will tell you some of the new content to look out for. I hope you will return to my music website to see what new content I have for you to read and enjoy.

You may find a post about your favourite artist, band, or composer right here on this music blog.
If you are also a musician like me, I will also be writing about songwriting & composing and my experiences.

Perhaps you would like to share your musical experiences too?

It is always very interesting for me to learn and share knowledge with other musicians and listeners of good music.  It would be nice to read your comments on new articles.

In many more future blogs I will tell you more about what instruments I play and anything that may be helpful or interesting to you if you are a musician, particularly beginners. Also I will write about favourite instruments of the orchestra and bands.

Music theory will also be featured for beginners to advanced. If you just like to listen to music then I will be reviewing albums from different music genres from the past to the present.

I will be writing about music artists and bands that are my favourite and new music that I discover.

Classic albums from music legends that I will enjoy listening to again will be featured, and so I hope that you will find a blog or an article that you may find interesting. If it is music related, I will write about it.

At the moment I have discovered MOOC’s – Massive Online Open Courses which you can read about on ‘My News’ page.

One of the main MOOC websites that I use is Futurelearn.

I am also reviewing the best MOOC’s that I complete, so if you are interested to know what they are like, please read my reviews on Class Central.

There are some great music related courses and I have become hooked!

Bringing all the interesting music knowledge together from past and present that I have learned about onto this music website, will make it far easier for you to find all the interesting stuff in one place.

Inspiration can happen anytime from anywhere.  I will share mine with you on Blogestra.com when it happens.

Thanks for reading!
